| Cook's Roost
Cook's Roost is named in honor of my Father. He was a farmer/rancher and chose to name his place, Cook's Roost for where he was established, or "roosted". I have continued to use the name for my home, where my dogs and I "roost and romp" and my studio resides. The beauty and serenity here combine nicely for enjoying my dogs, doing art work, and semi-professional photography, or for my writing of poetry or as National Editor for an aviation group.

The quiet, peace, and solitude of this acreage lend themselves to enjoying the beauty of the landscape with 9 ponds, two creeks, massive hardwood timber areas, and pasture/crop ground. Many of the photos on this entire site, have been taken as the sun rises over the house pond. The well cared for grounds allow freedom for hounds to play and exercise. The acreage abounds with large herds of deer and turkey and seasonal ducks and geese. It is the perfect setting for animals, art, writing, fishing privately stocked ponds, hunting, or just relaxing and enjoying nature.

CooRoo Studio
Original Stained Glass
CooRoo Studio is devoted to original stained glass works for residential, business, or religious themes. I work closely with each client to design and fabricate a piece that is totally unique. Many of the pieces have other materials included which adds originality. Also I like to incorporate 3 dimensional aspects in the pieces, which again supports their inimitable style.

For the past 20 years, I have been intermittently showing and/or breeding bloodhounds and beagles. Currently I only have award-winning beagles. Cook's Roost gives them large fenced areas to run and exercise. They have a great deal of attention, love and affection from me. As you can see from the photos, they are high quality dogs with proper conformation and wonderfully socialized.
